Consumers can capture video and click images from the 2 megapixel camera and view it on the 3.9 inches (height) and a 2.6-inch (diagonal) touchscreen display. An in-built GPS functionality will guide you while traveling on the unknown roads. It features 64MB of RAM, 128MB of flash and TI OMAP850 clocked at 201MHz Processor.
In terms of connectivity, the mobile phone is equipped with Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, and the EDGE/GPRS and Wi-Fi connectivity for fast internet surfing. It also sports the Asus RSS reader to provide regular updates and the latest information.
Asus’ latest PDA phone also includes its own finger-friendly launcher software to initiate many of the applications and settings before using the included stylus. Moreover, the phone also displays icons of time, calendar, messages, weather and the media player.
Priced at around £200 (approx. Rs. 16,000), the Asus P230 GPS PDA mobile phone is already available in the market. However, there’s no clue about its retailers.
