Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) has introduced a new color for the PlayStation 2, for the Japanese market. Polished in Cinnabar Red, this latest PS2 is also named as SCPH-90000 CR.
It comes bundled with the PlayStation 2 (SCPH-9000 CR) game console, DUALSHOCK 2 Analog Controller, an in-built audio/video (A/V) cable and AC power cord. The lightweight video game console ensures convenience while playing a variety of entertainment contents at home by using an incorporated AC adapter.
In the near future, the company plans to roll out various software titles, including third party licensees as well as from Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS), including Persona4 by ATLUS CO., LTD., SENGOKU BASARA X(Cross) by CAPCOM CO., LTD., JIKKYO PAWAFURU PROYAKYU 15 by Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd., and Ratchet&Clank: Size Matters by SCE WWS. It is slated to release by Summer 2008.
The Cinnabar Red PS2 will be available on 3rd July 2008, for a suggested price of 16,000 yen, in Japan. Remember PS2 fans, this is a limited offer so hurry up!
