The popularity of the Asus Eee PC has enhanced the company’s strength to embrace easy, excellent and exciting computing with the launch of three latest models, namely 901, 1000 and 1000(H).
The important attributes that make the new models an enhanced version of the predecessor are the shockproof solid state drive (SSD), the exclusive Super Hybrid Engine technology for longer battery life span of up to 7.8 hours, exclusive web storage and high speed connectivity as well as large displays for easy viewing.
Based on both Windows and GNU Linux platforms, the Eee PC 901, 1000 and 1000(H) laptops sport a 20GB Internet storage, a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam, a large display ranging from 8.9-inch (901 model) to 10-inch (1000H version) and comfortable keyboard, along with three GUI modes to adjust CPU frequency, voltage and LCD brightness. This would help to reduce system noise and minimize power consumption up to 15%.
With the help of the Infusion technology, all three Eee PC models feature trendy and colorful Infusion cover patterns. The latest range ensures extreme resilient that takes care of resisting scratches and scrapes for long lasting design. To make the PCs livelier, there are vibrant colors available that resemble the consumers’ personalities.
Asus’ new range of Eee PCs was showcased at Computex 2008.
