Harman Kardon unveils The Bridge II Docking Station for iPod and iPhone

Get a high-performance audio experience by placing your iPod or iPhone on a dock station. Harman Kardon has launched its latest The Bridge II dock station that is developed for the iPod and iPhone.

Once connected to a Harman Kardon The Bridge-ready, consumers will be able to access all the audio/video components. These enhanced iPod capabilities allow users to enjoy audio/video playback with the help of a home entertainment system, on-screen iPod menu display, remote control operation. Charging the iPod is also one of the features.

Furthermore, this latest docking system is compatible with the company’s DMC 1000 digital media center, the new AVR 354 7.1-channel audio/video receiver and the HK 3490 stereo receiver, or to other Harman Kardon The Bridge-ready receivers. With this, users can manage and control their iPod for music, image and video playback (with the AVR 354).

They can even get access to iPod menu information which can be seen on their TV and on the front panel of DMC 1000 or other receivers.

The Bridge II dock station is expected to release in July for an estimated price of $129 (approx. Rs. 5160). It will come bundled with the AVR 354 receiver.
