New Iomega eGo Hard Drive now stores up to 1TB

Do you remember the Iomega eGo hard drive that had a storage capacity of 250GB? Well Iomega has gone way ahead as it has enlarged this storage capacity to 1TB. This new HDD “Super eGo” has not only increased its storage capacity but has bounced back with a stunning look.

This new stunning eGo Desktop Hard Drive is available in Ruby Red, Midnight Blue, and Jet Black colors. This 3.5-inch hard drive has USB 2.0 connectivity and can hold up to 4,000,000 photos, 18,500 hours of music or 1,500 hours of video.

The Hard Drive includes a license for EMC Retrospect HD software, scheduled backups and on-demand backups. It is compatible with Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. The Iomega eGo 1TB Desktop Hard Drive is priced at $269.95 retail (in US) and is available through online retailers, VARs, resellers and at the Iomega website.
