Nokia N78 Multimedia Phone Launched in India

All-in-one mobile phone hits Indian market, allowing people to enjoy all the multimedia features such as music, navigation, photography and calling. OK, let me stop running around the bushes and give the details about the device.

Targeting at the youth, Nokia has rolled out its latest mobile phone dubbed N78 across the nation to get their techno-crazy attitude out while traveling.

Individuals can access internet and constantly visit social networking sites such as Facebook and Flickr, or make use of Web 2.0 to participate and share their experiences. The other feature that makes N78 phone stand out in the crowd is the ‘location tagger’ application that has the ability to automatically tag location data to the picture. Here, owners will be able to save picture by date and by geographical coordinates.

“We are moving towards ‘context aware Internet’, where people need to know what is available in a place they visit,” he said. For example, if a person with N78 is visiting the Spencer’s Plaza, information on various stalls should automatically be fed into the device. This makes it easy for the user to go to the right shop, Nokia will use the Internet as a key medium to market the N78 devices among the youth. This will be in addition to the retail network,” commented Vineet Taneja, Head of Go to Market, Nokia India Pvt Ltd.
