Westinghouse launches an Array of HDTV LCD

Here’s a wide range of HDTV LCD models that have been developed by Westinghouse Digital. There are four new 1080p-capable LCD TVs lineup that include TX lineup, VX series, SK lineup and PT series. All these models are multi-purpose LCD TVs and all-in-one units.

The multi-purpose TX LCD TVs comprises of 42-inch TX-42F430S, the 47-inch TX-47F430S, and the 52-inch TX-52F480S. These models are equipped with ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM Tuner, 1080p resolution with the help of high-definition connectors such as component and VGA; full color spectrum, high contrast picture settings to develop additional color dynamics on the screen, and an Advanced Calibration Menu for custom settings.

Westinghouse has also introduced the VK-40F580D from the VK series. It is HDTV/DVD combo unit that bundles 40-inch 1080p LCD TV, an upscaling DVD player, HD OTA tuner and two HDMI inputs.

The entry-level 32-inch W3223 and 26-inch W2613 720p LCD HDTVs are also unveiled by the company. These W line of LCD TVs include an ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM tuner, multiple HD inputs, 1080i HD resolutions and even support for 480i/p, 720i/p resolutions.

Additionally, the mid-range SK line is also announced. This series consists of 26-inch SK-26H730S, 32-inch SK-32H730S, a DVD-enabled SK-26H590D and SK-32H590D. The SK series provides similar resolution and HD tuners as that of W line up. However, the SK delivers a faster response time as compared to the latter.

Lastly, Westinghouse also unveiled PT series, which include 16-inch PT-16H120S, 19-inch PT-19H140S and PT16H610S TVs. The first two LCD TVs are portable set box that can easily place for smaller rooms, RVs, campers. Both the models are perfect for smaller or mobile locations. The latter TV boasts to be dual-hinged and folding TV to place it in a cabinet or mount to a wall or on a countertop.

The costs of the TX series range from $1199, $1599, and $1999, for the 42-, 47-, and 52-inch models respectively. The 32- and 26-inch W series are priced at $699 and $499 respectively, whereas the VX models retails for $1099. While, the 26- and 32-inch SK lineup LCD TVs carry a price tag of $599 and $749, respectively, the a DVD-enabled SK-26H590D and SK-32H590D come with an estimated cost $649 and $849. The PT series will be available for a suggested price of $279, $379 and $329.
