Sony Ericsson C905 comes to UK through O2

Sony Ericsson’s C905 8 megapixel Cybershot camera phone has been launched on O2 in the UK.

Apart from its 8 MP camera, the Sony Ericsson C905 Cybershot phone packs in Xenon flash, Auto focus face detection, image stabilizer, video recording feature, video stabiliser and a video light. The C905 equips a Wi-Fi antenna and it can easily and automatically network with other components like PlayStation 3, Bravia TV or Vaio laptop with the DLNA standard.

The new camera phone lets you choose among Night Black, Ice Silver and Copper Gold. Measuring 104 x 49 x 18mm and weighing 136g, it also comes with an FM Radio, TrackID, Album Art and Play Now, in-built games, NetFront Web Browser, WAP 1.2.1, WAP 2.0 XHTML and Web Feeds.

The C905 phone is said to be the first Cyber-shot that equips GPS and it also supports geo-tagging of photos.

Initially it is released on O2 pay monthly contract tariffs, but will also be picked by other UK network operators and retailers. The Sony C905 phone will be made available as a SIM Free handset as well as on the Pay As You Go payment scheme.
