SightMate LV920 Glasses Helps Visually Impaired for Clear Vision

Eyes are one of the most sensitive parts of the human body. It is a door to the beautiful world. Our heart wrenches when we see someone fighting to survive, without a visual picture about the surrounding. They only live with a feeling of touch, smell and listening abilities to get a prospect of the world. All the same there is some hope for those who don’t have an entirely normal vision. As a gesture of help, Eyetonomy has developed a technological product that makes sure that people with Diabetic Retinopathy or Glaucoma are able to see well. Called SightMate LV920, the sunglasses look quite similar to a wearable sunglass device that allows users to watch movies or videos on the small installed screen.

A cyclops like camera is fitted in the center of the glasses of the SightMate LV920 with a 2 megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom, dual high-resolution 640 x 480 pixels and an ability to tilt up to 15 degrees. This wearable device is not only the best option for those who are slightly visually impaired but also for people who are colorblind.

Weighing 8-ounces, the sunglasses come with pre-installed batteries and controller to zoom in and out up to a range of 16-inches, along with other functions. The LV920 utilizes edge detection and color correction as well as optical zoom for users, who are suffering from gradual visual loss, to easily read their content. It allows image inversion, snap and pan operations.

One thing that consumers need to take care of is that they have to be seated while using the SightMate LV920 as it only works accurately when one is in the sitting position and not in motion like walking or driving.

SightMate LV920 carries a price tag of $3499 (approx. Rs. 139,960) and is available at online stores in the US.
